India's Green Hydrogen Target 2025

 

Building India’s Hydrogen Economy

India has planned for 150 MW green hydrogen production capacities by 2025 in which Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh state included. Under this projects, several cities like Ahmadabad, Vadodara, Dahej , Mumbai, Kochi, Ankleshwar, Bellary, Nellore, Krishnapatnam, Pune, and Vizag is selected.

Gujarat

  • 40 MW Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Hub – Bharuch, Ankleshwar, Dehej Chemical / Industrial Cluster
  • Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar
  • Ankleshwar: 10 MW Green hydrogen, NH3/ Fertilizer hub
  • Hazira: 10 MW Green hydrogen steel plants
  • Vadodara: 10 MW Green hydrogen refineries and 5 MW hydrogen – CGD networks, 5 MW heavy duty transport
  • Vadodara/Dahej/Hazira – Waste to hydrogen city

Karnataka

  • 30 MW green hydrogen KAR – AP national steel – chemical – CGD hub
  • Bellary – Nellore – Krishnapatnam ( KAR – AP )
  • USD 68 mn public spend
  • c5000 tonnes pa green hydrogen production
  • Eliminates 5 Mmt CO2 in a decade
  • Bellary: 100 MW Green H2 steel plants
  • Nellore: 10 MW green H2, NH3 hub
  • Krishnapatnam: 5 MW heavy duty transport
  • Nellore: Waste to hydrogen city

  • Vizag : 10 MW green hydrogen refinery, 10 MW green steel, 5 MW hydrogen – CGD networks, 5 MW heavy duty transport, waster to hydrogen city

Kerala

  • 20 MW green hydrogen Kochi
  • National chemical – Transport – CGD hub
  • USD 45 mn public spend
  • c4000 tones pa green hydrogen production
  • Eliminates 4 Mmt CO2 in a decade
  • Kochi : 10 MW green hydrogen refinery, 5 MW H2 – CGD networks, 5 MW heavy duty transports, waste to smart city
