Active Filter
- It is a filter in which OP – Amp / transistor is used in associated with resistors and capacitors.
Passive Filter
- It is a filter in which resistors, capacitors and inductors are used.
Analog Filter
- It is a filter which process analog signals.
Digital Filter
- It is a filter in which analog signal used for digital techniques.
Audio Frequency Filter
- It is a filter which allows only audio frequencies whereas reject all other frequencies.
- The RC filter is generally used for audio or low frequency range.
Radio Frequency Filter
- It is a filter which allow only radio frequencies whereas reject all other frequencies.
- The LC filter is generally used for RF frequency or high frequency range.
