 Filter

• An electronics filter is a circuit which allows specific band of frequencies whereas blocks frequencies outside of the band.

Active Filter

• It is a filter in which OP – Amp / transistor is used in associated with resistors and capacitors.

Passive Filter

• It is a filter in which resistors, capacitors and inductors are used.

Analog Filter

• It is a filter which process analog signals.

Digital Filter

• It is a filter in which analog signal used for digital techniques.

Audio Frequency Filter

• It is a filter which allows only audio frequencies whereas reject all other frequencies. 
• The RC filter is generally used for audio or low frequency range.

Radio Frequency Filter

• It is a filter which allow only radio frequencies whereas reject all other frequencies. 
• The LC filter is generally used for RF frequency or high frequency range.
