Green Hydrogen in Tamil Nadu

• The BGR Energy has signed agreement with Fusion Fuel Green company of Portugal and Ireland to install green hydrogen production facilities in Tamil Nadu. 
• This project helps to reduce dependence of fossil fuels for mobility. This partnership is focusing on development of green hydrogen projects in India. 
• The fusion Fuel Green told the media that it would install a small demonstrator facility for BGR energy in the region of Cuddalore of Tamil Nadu during second half of 2021. 
• The fusion fuel green company is a market leading in HEVO SOLAR technology to generate green hydrogen. 
• India’s goal of 175 GW in the budget 2021 – 22 which allocated Rs 1500 Cr for the renewable energy development and NHM.
