Here, the comparison between alkaline and PEM electrolyzer is given. The volume of the PEM electrolyzer is almost 1/3 that of alkaline electrolyzer. 

Electrolyzer

Electrolyzer are technology for the production of low emission hydrogen from renewable electricity. India’s total installed capacity of hydrogen has reached 1 GW by the end of year 2022. The nation green hydrogen mission targets of 5 MMT ( millions metric tons ) by 2030 and to achieve 60 – 100 GW electrolyzer capacity needs to be installed.
